“Por Favor” is a collaboration song by Pitbull and the girl group Fifth Harmony, which blends genres and languages. This is the first time that they work together. The latin flavoured pop song is essentially a spanglish “boy meets girl” type of song, a sexy love letter between Pitbull and Fifth Harmony with a catchy chorus.

Fifth Harmony and Pitbull released details of the teamed up song during interviews, days prior to its release. The official announcement of the single and the cover art was on 26 October, 2017, on both of their social media profiles. The song was released just a day after.

Pitbull and Fifth Harmony debuted their collaboration song live during the Latin American Music Awards on Thursday, October 26, 2017, where “Mr. Worldwide” went home with the inaugural Latin AMA Dick Clark Achievement Award.

The song is rumored to be the lead single off Pitbull’s eleventh studio album. It was released in two different versions Por Favor (known as spanish version) and Por Favor (Spanglish Version) both keep the same pitbull verses in spanglish, but the “spanish version” feature the Fifth Harmony verses in its entirety in spanish.

The song samples the melody from the 2004 hit single My Boo by Usher and Alicia Keys. Consequently the songwriters of “My Boo” were added to the songwriting credits of “Por Favor”.
