“Savior” is a buzz single, by Iggy Azalea officially released on February 2, 2018, via Island Records along with a lyric video directed by Thom Kerr.

It features Migos rapper Quavo and is produced by Manhun Glow and Cirkut. The song was originally destined to appear on her scrapped sophomore studio album Digital Distortion.

It’s demo version, featuring vocals from producer Verse Simmonds on the hook, leaked online on December 5, 2016. Besides the addition of Quavo, the final reworked version of the track features revamped production and instrumentation as well. Iggy posted the first snippet on social media on January 26, 2018.

In a 2018 Billboard interview, Iggy touched upon the origins of “Savior" saying that Quavo was the one who reached out to her. She expressed how grateful she was during a time when most of the industry has shunned her:

He gains nothing for being on the song…Everybody’s probably just like, ‘Oh, but she sucks,’ or ‘Oh, he just did it for money.’ No, he hit me up and we sent music back and forth, and he wanted to do that song.
