Released February 26, 2018, “Busy” is the first single promoting Saba’s second studio album, CARE FOR ME. Saba announced it via his Instagram page, posting a new photo of himself sporting a new hair cut with the caption:

“I AM VERY BUSY, I WILL HIT YOU BACK LATER”

The post was then followed up by a snippet of the music video two days after. The snippet was one of his first social media appearances since he took a social media hiatus after the release of Bucket List Project.

With the release of CARE FOR ME, the original “Busy” was made part of the track, “BUSY / SIRENS.” For more on the changes between the single and album versions, click here.

On “Busy,” Saba reveals the feelings and thoughts he’s been dealing with over the past couple of years since his close friend and fellow Pivot Gang member John Walt’s tragic murder in early 2017.
