“Lookin' for a Love” is a 1962 hit for the Valentinos, the family group that first brought Bobby Womack to prominence. It peaked at#72 on the Billboard Top 100 and #8 on the R&B charts. It was later a hit single for the J. Geils Band (1971) and was re-recorded by Womack in 1974.
