“Familia” is a song by female powerhouse, Nicki Minaj and Latin rapper Anuel AA, featuring Zimbabwean singer Bantu for the animated movie, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The song’s main theme is loyalty, and how those who are close to you are worth more than anything else. It is the only song on the soundtrack that directly references the film.

The song’s composition also references Miles Morales' Afro-Latino identity: Anuel AA’s Spanish verse reflects his Latino heritage (mother’s side of the family) and bilingualism, while the rap as a whole honors his African-American heritage (father’s side of the family) and Black identity.
