“Adore You” is a quirky love song in which Maisie Peters expresses her complete adoration for her significant other.

The song was written in 2018, with Maisie’s long-time friend Fred Gibson. The pair have worked together before on “Worst of You” and “In My Head.” The singer explained what the writing process was like:

It really was just us having loads of fun and not thinking about anything too hard; we really just wanted to make a bop with only two chords.

The track was first teased on Maisie’s Twitter account, before being released alongside the rest of her EP It’s Your Bed Babe, It’s Your Funeral. On the day of the release, the song also received an accompanying music video in which Maisie builds herself a mannequin boyfriend.
