On December 23, 2019, a video of Pop Smoke and Travis Scott hanging out in the streets circulated online, featuring a snippet of an unreleased track between the two artists. A day later, UK drill producer 808Melo confirmed a collaboration between the two, revealing that Mike Dean was mastering the track.
An early demo of the track featuring French Montana leaked on October 28, 2019.
On December 30, 2019, Travis Scott released accompanying visuals for the track, which featured Travis and Pop Smoke driving around Houston in a Bugatti Veyron.
