On “Last Year,” Playboi Carti calls out people who only began supporting him after he became a successful recording artist.

The track was recorded on December 10, 2017, during production of Carti’s 2018 album Die Lit. Like “Blue Hunnids,” which leaked along with this song, the track is an unreleased demo throwaway that includes an intro, chorus, and two open verses.

The song was leaked on January 19, 2020, along with “Blue Hunnids,” “Free PDE,” and the original version of “Bartier Cardi.”
