Aftertaste was the last track to be released from Loud Luxury’s – Nights Like This EP. It follows their signature style of high tempo dance music that led to their hit single – Body in 2017. In an interview with VENTS Magazine, singer/songwriter Morgan St. Jean talked about how the song was made:

Aftertaste is a song I wrote a few years ago with a friend of mine, and originally it had more of a sad breakup vibe to it. A few months after I wrote it, I showed it to my friends Loud Luxury, and they immediately had a vision for it. They turned it into the dance banger that it is now!
