“Freak” (ft. REI AMI) is the leading single off of Sub Urban’s Thrill Seeker EP. It was released on March 13, 2020; when the EP came out. He first teased the song on Twitter on March 9, with a snippet of the lyrics, in this tweet:

Sub Urban also posted short clips of the song’s music video on Twitter on March 10, 11, and 12. The accompanying music video for “Freak” was released at the same time as the song (and the EP) was. The haunting, simplistic intro turns into a dark, powerful instrumental background with strong vocals from Sub Urban and REI AMI. The interludes between verses feature REI AMI’s vocals and bass-heavy electronic music. This intense track and its artfully crafted vocals, lyrics, and instrumentals is a strong opening for the Thrill Seeker EP.
