This is Lady Flow’s first official solo track. The name wasn’t actually supposed to be “Fake Assumption”. In fact, Young E asked Flow for the name of the song. She sent him: Fake assumption.

The message wasn’t for him though. He then typed in the name on Rapgenius and it stuck. After thinking about it, E concluded it was a good name. He aims it to all the posers and fakers in the rap game. Assuming fake pride to themselves.
