“Trying” is the breakout single from the up-and-coming rapper, midwxst, released on November 20th, 2020, marking as the first official single and the second track from the SUMMER03 EP.

A music video, provided by Overcast, was released on March 25th, 2021, which had gained a lot of attraction.

Due to the track’s huge success, it lead to wxst getting a record deal with Geffen Records.
