Setting itself apart from the rest of the season, this episode spends very little time on the titular Wanda and Vision. After the climactic end of the previous episode, the series takes a step back to establish context and answer numerous questions. Connections to the MCU at large are made, characters from other entries in the franchise unexpectedly return, and overall there is a general shift in power away from Westview towards a tenuous balance with the outside world in terms of screen time. Essentially, we are given the who, what, where, and when – all that’s left is the why and how.
