WandaVision is an American television miniseries, created by American film director Jac Schaeffer, aired on Disney+ from January 15th to March 5th, 2021, consisting of 9 weekly episodes. The miniseries is based on Marvel Comics, featuring the characters Marvel characters Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and The Vision and several returning characters in previous Marvel movies.
Chronologically, WandaVision takes place after the events of the film Avengers: Endgame (2019) that is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). WandaVision is the first television series produced by Marvel Studios, with Schaeffer serving as head writer and Matt Shakman directing.
