On “Rocket,” Pi'erre Bourne enlists the help of A$AP Rocky for the highly anticipated track. The collaboration was first teased by Bourne on his Instagram story, along with its cover art on December 2, 2018.

The song marks Pi'erre’s first collab with Rocky as an artist; however, he produced “Blowin' Minds (Skateboards)” by Rocky, his A$AP Mob collective, and Pi'erre’s frequent collaborator (and Mob affiliate) Playboi Carti.

A version of the song with A$AP Rocky removed is track 11 on The Life of Pi'erre 5 and it is titled “Retroville”.
