Be Alive

Be Alive

Beyoncé

“Be Alive” is Beyoncé’s first single since “BLACK PARADE” in 2020 and serves as the Original Song from the Motion Picture King Richard.

The anthemic track lyrically draws inspiration from the Williams sisters and their father, Richard Williams', story explored in King Richard as well as her own story of triumph.

“Be Alive”’s production leans towards a mix of R&B and rock, with similar elements to The Doors' 1968 song “Five To One”, which has been infamously sampled in her husband, JAY-Z’s, song “Takeover,” and featured during Beyoncé’s last four tours mixed with “Ring The Alarm.”
