“Last One Standing” serves as the official theme song to the 2021 Columbia Pictures movie, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, a sequel to the 2018 movie, Venom, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The song was released a day before the release of the movie.

The highly anticipated track was first confirmed when a fan, who had seen the movie before the official worldwide release, reported there was a new Eminem’s song during the movie’s credits. Later the same day, Eminem tweeted confirming his involvement in the new Venom movie, along with Skylar Grey, Polo G, and Mozzy, sharing a snippet of the song’s instrumental.

Eminem had previously been involved with the 2018 Venom movie, releasing the official theme song as part of his tenth studio album, Kamikaze.
