“LOVE & HATE” is the third official collaboration from Kenyan rapper KayCyy and French DJ Gesaffelstein. It was released on March 11, 2022, the same day as the other joint track “THE SUN.”

The song is a part of the three-track EP, TW20 50, as well as a track off of KayCyy’s debut studio album, WHO IS KAYCYY?.

On October 7, 2021, KayCyy released a snippet on Twitter, sharing the first forty-five seconds of the song. In the tweet, KayCyy teased his fans if they wanted more songs with Gesaffelstein.

After months of silence, on March 3, 2022, KayCyy announced through his Twitter page that the TW20 50 EP would be set for a March 11 release date, alongside the release of “THE SUN” and this song.
