In 1979, two teenaged brothers released an album recorded on their family’s farm in Washington. Years later, a lone copy of the record sat in an antique shop, intriguing a record collector based on the cover art. A $5 purchase led to the rebirth of a dream that had been dormant for three decades.

Ariel Pink, indie musician from Los Angeles, said the song “Baby” was “pure atmosphere” and recorded a cover version for his 2012 album Mature Themes. That same year, Light in the Attic Records reissued Dreamin' Wild to much critical acclaim for its quality and musicianship. Pitchfork gave the reissue an 8.0 rating, calling it a “godlike symphony to teenhood.”
