This song was written from a dark but beautiful place. I was alone, but not lonely. I was broke, but not broken. My best friend played me the original beat and I was instantly inspired to write a song about being purified (made new) by the woman of my dreams. Little did I know, this song completely described the woman that I would eventually marry in 2021.
