THE_EVIL_THAT_MEN_DO

$UICIDEBOY$

On the closing track to Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation, the $UICIDEBOY$ go back and forth while $crim talks about him not truly trusting people near him and thinking people are ‘'acting’‘ to gain his trust while Ruby talks about his long absence on social media and public-eye besides concerts and both of them talks about their newfound sobriety but them still suffering, them still having the same ideas and beliefs which they were talking about since the beginning of $uicideBoy$ like being against ’‘organized religion’‘ which is a topic they talked a lot about in the past —like in their song “Exodus”—and throughout the album.

The artwork features a photo of a tornado that tore through parts of New Orleans and its suburbs, ripping down power lines and scattering debris in a part of the city that had been heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy Pohlmann said during a news conference that one person was confirmed dead and multiple others were injured in the suburb. Other tornadoes spawned by the same storm system hit parts of Texas and Oklahoma, killing one person and causing multiple injuries and widespread damage.

As the Boy$ talks about in the first song of the album ‘'Genesis," this tornado’s usage may represent the God’s punishment to those who committed sins since the Book Of Genesis talks about how God created the world as very good, but that it was destroyed in the flood as a result of man’s disobedience which may be a reference to the tracks name “THE_EVIL_THAT_MEN_DO.”
