Coming in hot with what has to be one of the most stacked feature listings of Busta Rhymes' career, “The Heist” features vocals from the Wu-Tang Clan’s own Raekwon and Ghostface Killah. Not only this, but it was also the first track on Busta’s 2000 album Anarchy to have any features at all, despite appearing at track 12 on that album.

The track also marked the debut of the newest member of Busta’s Flipmode Squad, Roc Marciano, who gets his first appearance on wax on a track with three of the game’s most legendary rappers. What a way to begin a career! He features later in the album as well, on the Flipmode posse cut “Here We Go Again”.

This dark crime tale is produced by none other than Large Professor, who was largely unheard of in 2000. He provides a haunting, violin based beat for the rappers to spit over, which bears similarities to the next track, “A Trip Out of Town”, produced by Nottz. Weirdly, the themes in the two tracks are very similar as well.
