“Be My Summer” marks Snoh’s second release of 2023 following the Black Coffee remix of Bobby Caldwell “DO 4 LOVE”.

The lead single to Snoh Aalegra’s upcoming fourth studio album mirrors her third effort “TEMPORARY HIGHS IN THE VIOLET SKIES” lead single “DYING 4 LOVE” with Ari PenSmith’s assisting on production & backing vocals.

Snoh asks her boyfriend to be her “Summer” equating to sunshine & that it will protect her from “the rain” being pain/hurt. Snoh has previously mentioned the meaning of summertime in her 2017 song “You Keep Me Waiting” with VIC MENSA singing “But here we are, another summer’s over, It’s all the fucking same”.
