“8am in Charlotte” is the second single from Drake’s eighth studio album For All The Dogs, following September 2023’s “Slime You Out”. It is the sixth installment of Drake’s AM/PM series after “9AM in Dallas”, “5AM in Toronto”, “6PM in New York”, “4PM in Calabasas” and “7AM on Birdle Path”.

The track’s existence was revealed on October 5, 2023 in an Instagram reel from Drake, with the track and its music video also being previewed in its entirety.
