“A Rock Somewhere” is the eighth track from Djesse Vol. 4, the final installment of Jacob Collier’s quadruple-album project, Djesse. It features British-Indian sitar player Anoushka Shankar and Indian-based singer Varijashree Venugopal, whom Collier recorded with while on the Djesse World Tour in November of 2023, days before the album’s completion. The first mention of Collier working with Indian artists was in an interview published the same month.
