Skyler Acord

Skyler Acord is a singer-songwriter and producer, better known as the bassist of Issues and twenty one pilots.
Even in the early stages of Issues, Acord’s genre-bending approach to metal has propelled Issues to the forefront of modern rock. He even won the award for Best Bassist in Alternative Press Music Awards (2016).
He’s been a featured bassist and/or singer for singles from Set It Off, Bilmuri, Lauren Babic, VanJess, Lucifena and more. He’s also produced The Home Team’s album Slow Bloom.
In 2021, twenty one pilots recruited Acord as a touring bassist for the TAKEOVER TOUR. He has been a part of the crew ever since, being part of the band’s Scaled And Icy (Livestream Version) release to promote their new album.
On his 2022 birthday on September 12th, Acord announced that his first soloist single, “knew it all along,” would come out on September 28, 2022. The second single “made of” released on November 23, 2022, with the announcement of Acord’s debut EP, True Viridian.
