Dot Hacker

Artist

Originating from California, Dot Hacker is an experimental rock band, formed by former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer in 2008.

The band began recording their debut album, Inhibition, inbetween their other projects and commitments. However, its release was delayed for an extended time after Klinghoffer joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers in October 2009, replacing guitarist John Frusciante.

Their debut EP, Dot Hacker was released on February 21, 2012, ahead of the release of Inhibition on May 1, 2012. Two further studio albums were released in 2014 – How’s Your Process? (Work) and How’s Your Process? (Play).

Dot Hacker consists of former Gnarles Barkley touring musicians Josh Klinghoffer (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Clint Walsh (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Eric Gardner (drums) and former Hella bassist Jonathan Hischke (bass).
