Signature Entertainment, LLC is an American recording label founded in 2016 by David Loeffler and Randy Phillips.
When forming American boy group Why Don’t We in the fall of 2016, the duo wanted to deviate from common industry practice, which was to secure a deal with a major recording label as early on as possible. Instead, they were focused on developing a social media presence for the five-member band as well as releasing music, via the label they created specifically for this purpose.
Currently, Why Don’t We is signed with Atlantic Records, but they continue to release their music through Signature, giving “exclusive license” to Atlantic and WEA International Inc. over their music. The label also supports other artists, such as EBEN (Why Don’t We’s longtime tour opener) and Jay Alvarrez.
