The Highwaymen were a colaboration of the four biggest country artists of their time: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, and Willie Nelson.
From 1985 to 1995 they recorded three major albums. Their biggest hit was Highwayman, a Jimmy Webb cover, which came from the album Highwayman, released in May 1985.
