Fastway was formed by Fast Eddie Clarke, the guitarist of Motorhead, who was disillusioned by that band’s direction. Recruiting Bassist [Pete Way] from UFO, and eventually drummer Topper Headon from The Clash, he formed what was almost a late seventies hard music supergroup, adding in new singer Dave King.
The band was moderately successful, songs like “Easy Livin'” and “Say What You Will” garnering significant airplay on rock stations.
