Artist

Christopher Stacy Cheeks, Jr. (December 11, 1991–April 20, 2024), known professionally as Chris King, was a Californian recording artist and the CEO of Snotty Nose Records. Coming up, he developed a brother-like relationship with popular Ohio rapper Trippie Redd, signing to Trippie’s 1400 Entertainment imprint in 2020.

King had a unique, high-energy rap style, which consists of an aggressive, fast-paced flow over dark instrumentals with hard hitting bass—which landed him collaborations with the likes of Ski Mask the Slump God and Ty Dolla $ign.

King’s introduction to the 1400/800 Gang came from meeting rapper Rocket Da Goon while working on musicFairfax Ave. in Los Angeles, CA, and direct-messaging Trippie on Instagram later on in 2016.

On April 20, 2024, King was victim to a fatal shooting in Nashville, Tennessee after performing for a local festival celebrating the “4/20” holiday, Cannafest.
