Travis Scott first caught the attention of T.I., the Atlanta-based rapper and owner of Grand Hustle Records, after he heard Travis’s Lights (Love Sick). While T.I. was in Los Angeles, where Travis was living at the time, he invited Travis for a meeting at a studio. During their meeting, Travis showed T.I. “Animal,” one of his productions, over which T.I. freestyled. B.o.B was later added as a feature and the song was released as part of Hustle Gang’s debut compilation mixtape Get Dough or Die.
