Lil Yachty released “Baby Daddy” on March 9th, 2018, as a part of Lil Boat 2, the sequel to his debut self-titled mixtape. The track was originally previewed in December 2017, during one of Yachty’s first Twitch livestreams. Yachty showcased the track from start to end, seeming to only feature his companion Lil Pump. On March 5th, 2018, Yachty detailed the tracklist for the highly anticipated album via Twitter. “Baby Daddy” was shown as the 16th track, but, now, Offset was featured.

The track discusses typical Lil Boat topics: women, sex, guns, drugs, violence, and haters. Lil Pump shows his apparently evolving lyricism, and Offset joins in the end with a cool, catchy verse, filled with metaphors and classic Migos ad-libs.

It is unclear whether or not the track will be released alongside a music video.
