On “Higher,” DJ Khaled enlists John Legend and Nipsey Hussle for the first posthumous verse of the late-Crenshaw rapper.
“Higher” was slated to be a promotional single for Father of Asahd, but was pushed back due to the untimely shooting of Nipsey Hussle on March 31. The music video for the track was teased via TMZ.
Khaled promised to donate all the proceeds from the track to Nipsey’s family and, in particular, his children.
