On “7am on Bridle Path,” Drake takes aim at his rival, Kanye West. He references Ye’s response to Drake’s subs on Trippie Redd’s “Betrayal,” to which he posted Drake’s address on Instagram. Among that, he also talks about Ye being past his prime and takes shots at his Yeezy fashion brand.

The song is a continuation of Drake’s AM/PM series, following June 2010’s “9AM in Dallas,” March 2013’s “5AM in Toronto,” February 2015’s “6PM in New York,” and June 2016’s “4PM in Calabasas.”

The song’s title comes from the upscale Bridle Path residential neighborhood in North York, Toronto, Canada. Notably, it’s the location of Drake’s $150 million mansion, “The Embassy.”
