“Eazy” is a track from The Game and Ye, marking the duo’s ninth officially released collaboration.

The song is named after the late West Coast rapper Eazy-E, whose 1988 debut single “Eazy Duz It” is prevalently sampled throughout the track. Throughout the song, both rappers play on the deceased rapper’s name whilst speaking on the challenges they have faced in their respective lives.

The track was first teased on January 9, 2022, where multiple silent videos of Ye, Game, and Hit-Boy in the studio were posted by Kevin Wong on Instagram. Short snippets of Ye rapping would later surface, and later Game for what is assumed to be the same song. Ye posted the song’s original title, “MY LIFE WAS NEVER EAZY” and cover art to Instagram on January 13. The collaboration debuted on iHeart radio’s Real 92.3 on January 14. It then became exclusively available to Spotify for 24 hours until it arrived to all streaming services.

This song presumably belongs to The Game and Hit-Boy as they have posted pictures to Instagram working on a collaboration album. However, when Ye discussed this song and its release date, no specific album was mentioned. Pusha T was also reportedly featured on the track but he wasn’t involved in the released version.
