‘American Psycho‘ is a collaboration between DJ Marshmello, British singer Mae Muller & American rapper Trippie Redd.

‘American Psycho‘ is Mae Muller’s first release since her platinum hit ‘Better Days’ with NEIKED and Polo G.

Mae was gearing up to release a solo single, ‘I Just Came To Dance’ as her first single of 2022 but then revealed on twitter on July 14th that “NOW SUDDENLY … OUT OF NOWHERE” the single had been changed last minute and posted the name of the single in emojis, with the first word being 8 letters long and the second being 6 letters long.

A fan then guessed that the name of the song was “Absolute Abacus” and Mae quote-retweeted the tweet treating the title like a game of “Wordle” and fans began to guess that the title of the song is ‘American Psycho’.

And then on July 17th Mae announced the collab with Marshmello via TikTok

And aswell as announcing the collaboration with Marshmello she also revealed Trippie Redd was on the track too, via Twitter

The song was released on July 29th 2022
