“FE!N” reunites Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti with Travis Scott, following their 2018 single “Love Hurts” from Carti’s debut studio album, Die Lit.

The allegiance of the two introduces a different soundscape from their previously released material, as Travis experiments with higher vocal pitches, whilst Carti does the opposite and adopts a deeper voice—heard on most singles from his third studio album, MUSIC.

A different version of “FE!N” was partially debuted in UTOPIA’s accompanying film CIRCUS MAXIMUS, which features an alternate vocal take from Carti, as well as a complete verse from Cactus Jack Records-signee Sheck Wes.

Though Sheck’s verse was cut from the final release, both UTOPIA’s physical edition and a digital release of the album feature the aforementioned version of “FE!N,” alongside various other elements of the album tweaked last-minute.

The track’s official music video released on March 30, 2024, shot entirely in a spinning motion, and set in front of a completely black backdrop—like UTOPIA’s front cover. Aside from Travis and Carti, many extras are featured throughout the music video including a child actor that was photographed for UTOPIA’s physical editions.
