Christian Eugene Williams (born November 21, 2004), professionally known as yvngxchris, is an American recording artist hailing from Chesapeake, Virginia.
yvngxchris began making subtle waves after TikTok picked up on his October 2020 track “Did You Know (Remix).”
“blood on the leaves,” would be the track to put him in the spotlight, going viral on TikTok alongside a dance challenge. He doubled down on his newfound fame that same year with release of “Get Off the Leash” with tana—once again trending on TikTok.
Around the same time these songs began to bubble, Chris would sign to Columbia Records and Pusha T would become his manager.
I was at my friend’s house, and then my A&R Mont called me, he was like, “Yo, how do you feel about Pusha T being your manager?”
He released his debut major-label project VIRALITY on August 19, 2022, with guest appearances from Lil Yachty and DC The Don.
