Jaysaun, former co-founder of the underground rap group Kreators, is known for his raw and aggressive style on and off the mic. Their first video, “Foreign Lands”, was given 4 mic rating and was chosen best underground video for 1999 by MTV’s Flying Indie program that aired after the 1999 MTV Music Awards, which was instrumental in making a name for himself in the underground boston hip hop scene.

Jaysaun is a member of the the Boston hip hop super group Special Teamz , known for their many accomplishments in the industry. Special Teamz won the “Group Of The Year” award at the 1st Annual Mass Industry Committee Hip Hop Awards in 2005. In 2007 they released their first album Stereotypez on Duck Down Records. Featuring the likes of Sean Price, Buckshot, Devin The Dude, Akrobatik, ILL BILL and Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed, and the production of DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Marco Polo, Jake One, MoSS, ILL BILL, Explizit One, and the Italian producer DJ Shocca. The album’s song “Fallen Angelz” was featured in Ben Affleck’s film, Gone Baby Gone, in which Slaine played a supporting role in.
