“Donda” is the title-track of Kanye West’s tenth studio album Donda, and it serves as more of an interlude on the record, allowing room for Kanye’s late mother Donda West to continue her talkings about Kanye following the intense “Heaven and Hell”. The song features The World Famous Tony Williams, who does the chorus, and Stalone, who helps with the intro and the background vocals.

The track was played at multiple public listening parties for the album, which happened in Las Vegas and Atlanta. The major difference between the live song’s version and one released on the album is that a verse featuring Pusha T trading bars with Kanye was removed. The verse was based off of a reference track Pusha had recorded for Kanye, but the words were edited to sound like a conversation.

Even though this song is titled “Donda”, another track of the same name was recorded and intended to be on the original version of the album.
