“Life Of The Party” is a collaboration with André 3000. Its title is a term Ye has used in his song “Jesus Lord” to refer to his late mother Donda West.

A version of the song was leaked by Drake on Sound42 as part of the Drake and Kanye’s long-standing beef on September 4, a day after the release of Drake’s album Certified Lover Boy and a week after the release of Donda.

This version of the song features a different verse by Kanye than what was leaked by Drake. Here, Ye’s verse talks about his childhood growing up, as well as his family. The song was temporarily exclusive to the Donda Stem Player.

Kanye officially released the song on November 14, 2021, both as a clean version on Donda (Deluxe), as well as an uncensored single, after André 3000 explained it was cut from the original version of Donda after a disagreement over releasing an uncensored version of the track.
