LaFace Records was a label established by musicians L.A. Reid and Babyface in Atlanta, Georgia. They received a distribution deal through Clive Davis‘ Arista Records in 1989 and was absorbed into Arista in 2001. The label was rebooted through Jive Records but both were absorbed into RCA Records in 2011. The label was home to a number of successful artists in the 1990s, including TLC, Usher, Toni Braxton, Donell Jones, Ciara, P!nk, Goodie Mob, and OutKast.

The label released several Grammy-winning projects and three diamond albums with more than 10 million sales (TLC’s CrazySexyCool, OutKast’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, and Usher’s Confessions)
