Originally the b-side to the song “My Hang Up Is You”, this funky joint was first sampled in the Stezo song “It’s My Turn” and has since been used by dozens of great Hip Hop artists like Eric B. & Rakim, Big L, Mobb Deep, Ol' Dirty Bastard, MF DOOM, Gang Starr and more. It’s mainly been sampled for its funky drum beat and sometimes for the word “step”.
