In “Like I Ain’t,” Tech N9ne speaks on his disillusionment with the music industry as a consequence of not being appreciated or recognized to the degree that he feels he deserves. He celebrates his career in spite of this, and runs through a selection of some of his finest moments and achievements.

One recurring theme in the track is naming some of the many esteemed artists whom he has worked with, namely: 2Pac, Eminem, Corey Taylor, Twista, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, T.I., 2 Chainz, B.o.B, Hopsin and Joyner Lucas.
